Lights like the real thing
- number of bulbs and LED watts, giving the luminous flux in lumens
- colour temperature in kelvin and a dimmer
- a shade sends light up and down, spotlights shine in a cone
- chandeliers, floor and table lamps, spotlights and wall lights
Lighting map and light meter
Under Display, turn on the Lighting layer: the flat is coloured by illuminance and a click anywhere shows the lux at that spot. You see at once whether your desk gets around the 500 lx recommended for reading and writing, or just 150.
With switches
Connect lights to switches under Services → Electrics, and clicking a switch in the Interior turns them on.
The map covers artificial light from the fittings; daylight isn't included yet. The result is an estimate — a real fitting may perform differently from the manufacturer's data.
